Javascript seems to be causing problems with my megamenu, which at the beginning has been working fine with the JA University template set to ”development mode: YES” or Javascript compressions set to No or join, but since yesterday it’s been very temperamental. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Coincidentally, I observed that whenever the megamenu is not working, other things on the site don’t work either, for example the post button in the easydiscuss form or even on the backend the save button for some of the administrative forms.

According to the hosting firm there is the following problem:

I've checked your case and it seems that there are problems with the Javascript execution. The errors are as follows:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property 'opacity' of undefined
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'x' of undefined

I would advise you to check the files of the mega menu and make sure you have uploaded all js files in the media/system/js.

I also noticed that in the template manager for the JA University 2.5 v1.0.6 template the button for menu type is greyed out. I’ve tried reinstalling the template but it made no difference.

    Hi Andrewwinkler,

This mostly comes from the conflict in JS of 3rd party extensions you used in your site. Did you try to unpublish one by one extension to see which one caused this issue?

Thank you for your suggestion. I got the Megamenu to work again by disabling Quick2Cart, which I upgraded yesterday to version 2.2.1
