September 8, 2015 at 1:13 pm #747856Hi
I’m also seeing this problem in the T3 BS3 template. I updated Joomla and then updated to the latest version of T3 template and the plugin and all my mega menu settings were lost so I went into the mega menu configuration to put them back and it doesn’t load, the top bar comes up but no menu loads.
I tried restoring to a backup from before I made the updates but the problem remains, in fact I haven’t done any work on the menu in a few months so the problem could well have been there before.
I have got Admin tools installed so I turned it off but still the problem remains.
Any help much appreciated.

September 9, 2015 at 2:13 am #682483It’s hard to give suggestion without a closer look at this issue.
There maybe several reasons related to this:
– One of 3rd party extension prevent this megamenu from working
– Check permissions of files/folders on your site and make sure it has: file-644 and folder-755 permission.
– Check the user which is showing megamenu as discussed in this topic: http://www.t3-framework.org/discussions/edit-menu-items-for-authenticated-users.html#reply-317Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

I’ve checked all of these:
I haven’t installed any third party extensions since I know the menu was last working, the only things that have changed are a few Joomla updates, a few JCE editor and no number framework updates. It’s a fairly simple site with only a few plugins so I disabled the plugins I’m using and this makes no difference.
All folder permissions are correct.
I’ve checked the menu items permissions and all are set to public, I even tried creating a new menu as suggested in another post but this doesn’t work either.
I’ve also tried using a different browser: If I view source on the page I can actually see the code for the drop downs etc. that should display in the configuration but they just don’t show on screen.
It’s a bit frustrating as I’ve lost my beautiful drop down panel menu 🙁

September 9, 2015 at 7:29 am #682567Sorry, just to make it clear, when I say I can see all the drop downs in the source code, I mean in the mega menu configuration screen, so for example on screen I can see Menu with a drop down to choose the menu, Access with a drop down to choose the access and then the 3 delete, save and close buttons. Under this I can see the title and paragraph Megamenu Toolbox etc but then nothing after this so where you normally have the choice to set the columns etc there is nothing and then nothing in the panel that normally shows the menu that you are configuring.
But if I view source all of those things are there in the code, just not loading on screen.

Hi, sorry, I’ve cracked it! When I disabled Admin tools I didn’t spot a secondary system plugin that handles the redirection in Admin tools, I disabled this and it works.
For those who want to know how I fixed, I went into Admin tools > WAF configuration > Visual Finger Printing > Allow Site Templates = Yes.
Hope that helps someone.
