With all these discounts your giving out..ur screwing the members who are renewing. We cannot use the % off on our renewals..band now with the 50% off..new customers are paying less that long term members..this really sucks for us. Ive been with you guys for over 3 years now and the customer service has gone down the hill. And now ur not offering the same discounts that your offering to non members. Joomlart…you need to realize that it cost more to gain a new customer than it does to keep one.

You only posted about the renewal issue here and clearly it was well answered.
In your 16 tickets in the database, most of them are technical issues.
It’s wrong to say that “i did not get a response”.
Rob, I would like to reconfirm that at JA, return customers always have better (or as good as) discount than new customers. If you search in your emails, you will see that I do sent 2 notifications about renewal and discount on renewal 30 days and 7 days before your membership expires.
You just send in the ticket DLY-365-63436 a few minutes ago and you will have a satisfied answer from customer service team within the next 12 hours.

December 28, 2010 at 3:21 pm #368932My point is…when i renewed..I could only renew at the 350.00 price. Non Members had discounts that Members are not allowed to use. Now…Non Mebers can get the Developers Licn at 250.00 when I am onlu allows to get it at 350.00 . How is that Fair. Yes..my tickets where responed to..but way after the fact. There was even an email stating sorry for the slow response. Just saying..been a member for 3 years and ts costing me more than a new customer.

December 28, 2010 at 6:57 pm #368980I’ve send a ticket that it’s not responded yet about that ridiculous discount after they say that won’t be any other discount after the bundle, and now this thing… 3 days after there is a U$ 100 dolar discount? Do you think that we are dumb and idiot?!
JA should allow people that bought the bundle to choose the promotion at same time!
Serious, next year I’ll wait more, if no good reward for existing members I’ll go to other place… and until now JA was the best place, after this promo I’ll think 10x to renew again.
As beastmode54 said, how come a new member get more benefits of an existing one (I say this because any existing member should had already renewed until 24 dec promo).

Don’t put words on my mouth Nihues. I did not say that there wont be any other discount, I said “For now we haven’t got any plan for other promotion…..”. Are they the same?
How did we come up with this offer?
As for the preparation for Chrismas/New Year campaign, I did not want to offer the same thing every year which would be very boring, so I requested the team to work on something different…
Then we asked our Joomla friends to join us, and finally we had successfully made 6 big packages (~ $300-$400 in total) FREE for JA members, and with more than 206 exciting comments, that was not ridiculous at all. The offer was not of your interest, but was of huge interest of many other JA members.
When some of you recalled the 2009 sales, we all got very embarrassed. We could not have a clear answer on what we should do to keep you happy…
And many days later, there had been even more and more requests on forums, via tickets asking for the same. On 24th, we have no way except for make a decision to recall last year campaign again to leave up to expectation.
You was right that we would have allowed members to choose to exchange previous promotion for this one. However, we had problem with our other 5 partners we had been working with. Would they agree on that? Things would be way too complicated for us as well for our partners.
Nihues, send in a ticket if you would like to get a refund or how you want to be compensate for this offer. We wont take your money if you are not happy…

December 28, 2010 at 7:54 pm #368997I am not happy at all just because in the same thread above I told that already had anything.dev bundle so for me was not good deal at all, not interested in another pack of products, only JA products, and said that will be happy if I paid $250 for renew (exactly the price of this new promo).
I know that the promo was good, but not for many, and for sure many people already got some of the products that got discounts, so I think i’ts very good for new users, but for existing are like ok, or whathever.
And 2 weeks ago you said that have no plans for another promo, ok, but you need to plan ahead things, when you say that it’s almost obvious think of “Ok then, no new promos until 24dec, maybe some new promo 2-3 month from now, and not 3 days after 24dec”.
I’ll send another ticket, let’s see
