November 8, 2013 at 7:55 pm #192105Hi there, I am a Joomlart member and have an active membership. I can download templates but can not access the template user guides from the support area and can not update joomlart extensions.
How can I get someone to help me gain access to the guides and to the updates?
Thanks!

November 8, 2013 at 8:27 pm #511676How are you trying to update? Are you using JA Extension manager? As for the guides they can now be accessed for all whether you have membership or not at the new documentation site found here – http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates

November 8, 2013 at 9:47 pm #511678Hi Phill,
I am indeed using the JA Extension manager, see below…As for the link you posted, it constantly refreshes about 4 or 5 times then errors out and take me to a Failed to Open page. I can force the page to stop refreshing and see the links to the documentation, once I click on the link for the template I want to review, the page just loads and loads. It actually crashes out my browser and all open tabs. I have tried this on two different locations many many times. Once I waited it out and then it prompted me to log in, even though I already was logged in. When I entered my info it said I did not have permission to view that area and suggest I become a member.
Thanks in advance for your help. I really appreciate it.

November 9, 2013 at 2:57 am #511687Hi Pixelperfect
I have tried on a few browsers to access http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates but can not reproduce the error you mentioned. In fact, you don’t need to login to view the document. You may want to logout and visit that page again.
About the update extensions from backend using JA Extensions Manager, I will ask our engineer to take a look. For the time being, you can update extensions by downloading from download area and do the update the joomla way (overwrite installation)

November 9, 2013 at 3:19 am #511688To make sure you can use JA Extension Manager, you need to edit the JoomlArt Update with your Username + Password (in the Service Manager menu)
Full instruction is here: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/Admin_PanelIn case you still have problem, as instructed above, you can use JA Extensions Manager to upload the download package. This way, you still can compare, backup, rollback if necessary

November 22, 2013 at 12:07 am #513077Sorry for the delay. I still can not access the private forums, and I have a question about the JA Slideshow. I was hoping someone here could help me. I have set the slideshow to pull from articles. I have set the animation to repeat. In a few of the article I have embedded videos using an iframe. Everything works great until the animation repeats. When it repeats the articles that have iframes are blank, but the articles that just have pictures in them still show up and cycle through. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hung – thank you for your help. Attached is a video of the problem I am experiencing. You will see that once I click on MORE, the site just re-loads over and over until it fails. I hope this helps.
Thanks!

November 22, 2013 at 7:34 am #513110Have you tried a different browser? I too seem to have problems with both IE11 and Safari. I will message the team now to see if they can replicate your problem.

November 22, 2013 at 2:23 pm #513160Sadly I cannot replicate except in IE11. Maybe one of the other team members can suggest something.

November 25, 2013 at 9:10 am #513372Hi pixelperfect,
The inaccessible issue of our template documentations happens only on Safari browser that the tab automatically reloads and couldn’t display the page. On other browsers, I want to confirm that I still can access the document site. However, don’t worry, I have asked our admin to check out this issue.
To the issues of updating extension via JAEM component and slideshow animation repeat with <iframe> articles, you can send me PM or create http://support.joomlart.com/a ticket with the site’s credentials. I will help you to check and give you any suggestions to solve these issues.
