I can’t figure out why my menu is appearing in topbar, and topbar is assigned to ACH-Header. Also, there’s a repeat of the social icons. I only want the social icons in there.

I wanted to post my resolution to this problem in case other beginners, like myself, struggle with something similar.
Within the top bar module there was a ‘position 1’ designation. When I removed that position designation and saved the top bar appeared without the nested menus. Whatever the logic is behind the conflict it introduced is a mystery to me, but it worked.
