Hi

Have you recently updated Joomla version?

There maybe something wrong with the update or kindly try to disable any 3rd party extensions on your site, it may cause this issue with isis administrator template.

Or you can switch to another administrator template like Hathor under Backend > Extensions > Templates: http://nimb.ws/6KNeOT

I switched it over to Hathor but really don’t care for that layout. I’ll wait until the next Joomla update and hopefully that addresses the issue.
