July 31, 2014 at 11:27 am #200145Hi there
The menu associations functionality is having a unexpected behaviour in my site.
If you go to our english blog and click on the spanish flag, the destination is the spanish blog. But being in the Spanish Blog, if you click the British flag, the destination is the English Homepage instead of the English Blog.
This behaviour is usual in other menu items
Thanks in advance for any clue to solve this issue

August 1, 2014 at 10:35 am #544151I have checked on your site and I see all config is correctly but I don’t know why Spanish language pages switch back to Succes Stories English page. I tried to check it on your site but your site is slow and so hard for checking
Did you have install other extensions (SEF URL extension) to change URL of your site?

August 3, 2014 at 5:27 pm #544339Hi @ninja Lead , I’m convinced that the performance of our site is related to this issue already opened in the forum. We’re seriously concerned for this bad performance, because our Google position has decreased dramatically.
Answering your question, YES. We’ve sh404SEF running on our site, but I don’t think this is the problem with menu associations, because if I disable sh404SEF, the problem persists.
Any help will be deeply appreciated

August 3, 2014 at 7:00 pm #544342Hi Ninja Lead and Joan,
Just like our developer Ninja Lead, I also didn’t find anything wrong with the “Blog” menu item associations: clicking on the Spanish flag under http://ledandgo.com/en/blog-en.html web-page brings me gracefully to its Spanish twin page at http://ledandgo.com/es/blog-es.html.
The only minor problem with that Spanish version of the blog front page I did find is its logo image:
May be you could clear your browser(s) cache and test the Spanish and English “Blog” menu items once again?
Just my modest 2c.
Regards,
Alex

Hi @ninja Lead , @alexsmirnov
Thanks for your comment @alexsmirnov , it allows me to realise a new problem on our site. I reported on a new forum thread here.
Regarding the association problem, I cleared both caches, backend and browser, and the problem persists. You can check surfing our website and switching from spanish to english in different pages
