    I am developing a dropdown menu at the top of my website. I want the main menu buttons to be inactive and only have the rollover action that exposes the submenus.

    The link “Credentials” is a seperator/placeholder and does what I want – it is an inactive link and drops the Millersville University submenu – but does not have the white text. Can you help me here? Is this the correct way to go about organizing the menu? What css file can I change?

    Here is the link to my work in progress…

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Please add this class to transmenu css file: [joomlaroot]/templates/ja_avior/ja_transmenu/ja-transmenuh.css:

    #ja-transmenu li span {
    color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    Thanks – it worked! Can you also tell me why the titles are bold when the page loads and then switch when I rollover the wording. Seems to do that for each one (Home, Personal, etc etc). I would like to have the text remain bold. Thanks again – I am new at this 😀

    Yes – i was able to figure it out. Thanks for your quick read and reply. I am assuming that I can change the text color and fill color of the dropdown menu using the same css fiel that you referred to above. I want to change the “box” fill color and the opacity setting. Thanks again – getting up and running with Joomla has been so much easier using this forum. Many Many thanks!

    UGhhhhh – now I am having spacing issues between the two seperator/placeholder additions. The credentials and professional links are butted up against each other – how do I add equal space between each one?
