May 1, 2008 at 10:00 pm #247504Another color problem here. I have assigned a different color to each category using the method as described above. On my frontpage all categories are visible and have different colors as assigned.
When I click on a article or category the color of the menu and stripes always stays red, it doesn’t inherit the color like it does on the demo. I tried different articles and different categories, but the color always stays red.
What can I do?

May 2, 2008 at 7:16 pm #247581I did it that way:
1-Created Sections as menu level
2-Created Categories and attached them to Sections, making them sub-menu level.
3-In Module manager, editing JA News 1.3.0, I set “Group by Category / Section” to section and provided in the IDs field the Ids of the Sections I’ve created .I assigned Articles to Categories and that works.
Give it a try.Regards.

May 2, 2008 at 7:22 pm #247582Thanks for your reply hcharly, appreciate it!
My categories belong to one single section. In my situation it is not possible to create seperate sections for each single category. This will create a mess on my website. It should workd on category level as well, but somewhere it went wrong 🙁

May 8, 2008 at 6:51 am #248155Well, it’s not easy for me to explain better in English so I included two screenshots explaining the situation.
– Notice the color of the button in screenshot1, it’s green.
– Notice the layout of the lines in screenshot2, they are redIn your demo these colors changes. Why doesn’t it change on my website?
