I have a fresh install of Joomla 1.51 stable and JA Fagus 1.5 on localhost (wamp)
The problem: content inside the menus are misalligned, this happens whether I have sample content preloaded or a clean install with nothing but “home” under the left menu. Please have a look at the attached screenshot and see if you can identify what the problem is

February 16, 2008 at 2:45 pm #239292I havent had a chance to try to fix it yet…but I decided to go for the gusto here and go with 1.5, and noticed the same issue. The menu also seemed to not be responsive to the color changing as well…

This looks like a serious problem to me and its dissapointing to see the level of quality being released by JoomlArt, does nobody check templates before they are released?

1.5 is far easier than I expected and the only issue I’ve had is with this particular template. Even installation was simple.. took 5 minutes on hostgator
Its also the sole reason for me joining JoomlArt because a particular client really wants JA Fagus.. so you can see why I’m getting annoyed with the lack of support here

February 19, 2008 at 4:48 am #239484If you wouldn’t mind, can you add a couple more menu items and take a screenshot for me.
Secondly, do you have a live site url?

February 19, 2008 at 6:52 am #239486Yes, a live site with some menu items & contents will be great for us to figure out the problem.
February 19, 2008 at 7:24 am #239491I have had a similar problem.
The problem and the work around was posted in this forum in december. I can’t remember the solution but you can find it in one of the post here. I remember it has something to do with IE and therefore a modification in the css should be made to solve it.
It works for me and have done it since.

will give you one example… also noted in the menu on the blue version, the text doesnt turn to blue.
Also if y’all happen to meander on the site, look a few down to my column question :-).
As far as adding more items to the menu…no problem…I just won’t be able to do it until later today.
Thanks,

February 19, 2008 at 6:00 pm #239532I added an item to the menu, which still stands on the site..it made no difference.. I played around and added a few and it didn’t help… what i did notice….was when i added a couple… it did shrink in….but when you would run the cursor over it, it would spread out…..
so there you have it….

February 19, 2008 at 6:08 pm #239534Alicia I can’t help thinking that your modifications have caused the problems…its like the new tabs has pushed things out of line.
The modules to the left that are out of shape are the ones you are having the colour trouble with.
Have you tried to use the wide option?
