July 19, 2012 at 1:10 pm #461481You have compatibility mode enabled in your browser or <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=7″ /> inserted into index.php thru a plugin or previously inserted for compatibility when IE8 broke a lot of website’s template. Though I think the biggest reason is that there is no CSS defied in Ja Wall below IE9.
To be honest… JA Wall looks very bad in IE9 and doesn’t seems to have a dynamic pane moving effect like Firefox does. It looks so bad, especially the fonts and categories that I’m wondering if I should continue with this template, seeing as to how majority of the public uses IE.
Edit: Forgot to mention. Just remove the meta code if you find it and it will fix your problem.

July 19, 2012 at 1:16 pm #461483Just in case you are using a new Joomla install and everything… try checking if Apache or IIS is set to force IE7 compatibility.
