February 22, 2012 at 9:19 pm #174186I can´t show a menu assign to a language
I posted two days ago because I had problems with menu multilingual. Tom C helped me and advised me to make a new installation with quick install & examples instead of a clean installation. Finally I did it but I still had the same problem. It must be an stupid thing but I made the same error twice and I recognize that I’m lost.
I think I make all the steps and the problem is that when I select a flag from a language, I go to the default page of that language but the menu asociated at that language doesn´t appears. Then I select the other language and happen the same thing, show the default page of this new language, but not show the menu asociated.
Can anybody help me?, I’m collapsed
Thank you

Is perfect, works, 🙂 thank you very much.
Excuse me, two things:
1.- Where do you create that profiles? I can´t find it. I only see “Site”.”My profile”
2.- Why when I click over “Description” show “Subcategories”? or over “Descriptor” show “Subcategorias”?
You really made me happy, thanks!!!!

To see new profiles goto Extensions –> Template Manager –> Ja_Droid – Default –> on the right you will see Five Tabs click on PROFILES Tab and you will see the new two profiles that i have created, if you look at Menu Settings you will see that i have assigned the respective main menu to the profile Spanish Profile = Mainmenu-Es

This is the translation that the joomla language makes for the component names
If you are in the english section of the template your english language translates all the component name in english
The same for the spanish language
I hope was clear
Regards
