    Hi all:

The main menu which appears on the screen should have a little orange graphic (3 little circles) appear to their left (that is, one graphic per menu item).

I unfortunately don’t see this on my browser — the image is actually ‘behind’ the text… this became apparent when I actually click and hold a menu item, it shows the image in the background.

Using the same browser, the image works perfectly fine in the demo area (at joomlart.com). The bug report mentions something similar but I have the most recent version and ja-cssmenu.php file appears in sync with that the post has.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    m.

    P.S: excellent design! 🙂

Testing this further, I checked sites-modules and made sure images were displayed for the menu — everything appears to be set correctly.

Also: if I change (from: Site->Site Modules->Main Menu) the “Position” attribute to anything but “left”, the icons show up perfectly fine.

    Thanks.

    Hi mustafa,

May I ask what browser are you using? Could you please give me a link to your site?

    Hope to help you soon!

    Hi Hieu,

I am using Firefox 1.0.7. The site link unfortunately isn’t possible currently due to a number of reasons… I apologize about that. I’ll try and have it made available on the net and update you.

Appreciate your speedy response and willingness to help!

    Regards,
    Mustafa.

    You’re welcome, Mustafa! 😀

At this time, I guess that you are using the default mainmenu module of Joomla! JA Regulus looks ok on my Firefox 1.506 too.

Ja Regulus uses our advance JA Split Menu. Please try to add some sub-menus to your Navigation Structure, and you can see the yellow arrows. BTW, don’t forget to unpublish the default mainmenu module.

For more information on JA Split Menu, please read this post http://id.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-use-ja-split-submenu/

I’m waiting for your site to help further. 😉

    Hi,

The problem was actually displaying the mainmenu module in ‘Vertical’ view which uses tables to render the menu. By using a flat list, the images do appear.

Minor problems are that the sub-menu has disappeared, however, I believe I need to look at the ja-splitmenu.php file and use that instead. I should be okay — however, I may make noise if I can’t figure it out! 🙂

    Appreciate your help.

    Regards,
    mustafa.

I have this EXACT same problem. Can’t figure it out, though. I am also using latest version of Firefox (on Mac) … version 1.5.0.6.

I’ve tried everything I can think of, but can’t fix it. Help!

    Jim
