Hi there,

put ja_ores in wamp locally, when I click on an item the whole website shifts to the left. When I lcick the next menu item – the whole website shifts to the right and vice versa.

I have seen that repeatedly already on several templates. is that a bug on the mega menu? Help!

HI,

I posted 5-6 tickets, sent you guys all of my info, nothing!!!! How long do I have to wait for someone to really look and see what the problem is? It is really very disappointing tat you do not even care baout your long-term customers any more. Here is the url – I posted it at so many places and you keep closing my tickets! It is very upsetting – this issue is continuing for 3 weeks!

As far as I can see this only happens when you alternate between long and short pages, i. e. pages with or without a scroll bar. It is easy to see in Firefox, barely noticeable in Chrome and even less so in Safari.

My guess is that this is a browser issue. The browser window gives away a few millimeters of real estate on the right hand side and vice versa when it doesn’t need the scroll bar, and the web page moves to the middle of the window.

Maybe you owe the good guys in Vietnam an apology? 🙂

I solved it by adding this in my main template CSS. Now if a page is short this code will force a display of the scroller bar so that the website doesn’t shift.

html {
overflow-y: scroll!important;
}

I hope it’s useful.
