Menu items on the navigation bar occasionally change order on their own. When I go in the backend to put them back in order, some of them won’t move up passed a certain point. I have to then unpublish them, put them in the right order again, then publish. It happens pretty often and I was wondering if there was a cause?

    Thanks Ja team

Wow . . . This is an interesting and unusual sounding issue. (Are you sure your computer isn’t possessed?) 😉

In theory, this should not happen absent you (or someone you may have designated) switching things around.
Does this issue reoccur often? How many times have you experimented in recreating this series of events?

This has happened more than half a dozen times in the passed few weeks. Worries me that this will happen when I make the site live. If you’d like to see what I mean, go in my backend, then go to main menu, and try to reorder this first 5 menu items like this: Home, Bl**er Social, Groups, Events, Community. You’ll see that it won’t let you move the menus around after a certain point

    Thanks Tom!

I figured out what happened… I had too many menu items unpublished and trashed (without emptying trash). Once I cleaned out the ones I wasn’t using, it allowed me to order them properly without any problems.

    Good Job – Congrats !!!

A little trial-and-error can go a very long way. 😎
