Once I click on a page name on the left menu I go to the desired page while page name on the menu stay selected, with a dark bar below.
This is nice to remember the people where they are, but it works on one name only.

Is it a bug in the template or something to be managed from the joomla backend?

It seems to be the Joomla problem which I remember since the Mambo day. There had been explaination for this on Joomla.org forum. As far as I know, it is a problem of items ID….
