November 19, 2007 at 11:09 pm #233117Well Thanks everyone, I have installed from quickstart and my site looks exactly the same as the demo site, I love this template, now is a chalange to me to replace and modify content, specially some CSS code to remove the top div width from extreching across the screen.
Thanks guys and hopefully I get this working as I like soon…
November 20, 2007 at 7:48 pm #233162I have the same problem, maybe worse:
http://www.reptiles-and-amphibians.com
I can’t use quickstart because this site is hosted on godaddy which allows a joomla install as one of their built in options. The URL is aliased to another domain.
I suppose I could delete everything and ftp the quickstart stuff, but I’m not at all sure I can get the site reconnected to the database then. Its all automatic when godaddy scripts are doing it.
Great template though – I hope I can get it to work for me –

November 20, 2007 at 9:35 pm #233164Solved – I was able to get the quickstart installed and running using godaddy’s back end install. It was actually no problem at all 🙂
NOW – Whats up with joomart’s slooooow connection? It takes me many “request timed out” and long waits before pages load. Been like this for hours!
Other than that – I’m a happy camper 🙂
