I installed a third-party directory component and when I click on the main menu (Directory) my menu stops working??
Also, I want to have a link to a blank page with modules on it rather than a link to a single article, because I don’t want the comments portion that come with an article to be displayed. Is there an easy way to link a menu item to a blank page with a module as the content, rather than an article?

Do you mean this URL
http://www.attorneyslounge.com/index.php?option=com_jomdirectory&view=homepage&layout=home.tpl&Itemid=1267
I have checked in this url and your menu still working fine ? Or would you show me a sample / screenshot ?<blockquote>Also, I want to have a link to a blank page with modules on it rather than a link to a single article, because I don’t want the comments portion that come with an article to be displayed. As far i can understand you want to point to a page only with modules ? Because you are using some comments system that will load in article page ?
Uhm i don’t think we have any kind of this but you can try by use article page but in your Comments exclude that article / category ?Thank you,

November 30, 2011 at 9:53 am #427303I didnt face any problem in navigation when I was on the Directory page. Can you please elaborate on what exactly is happening with menu when you are on the Directory menu item or its submenus.
You can use {loadposition nameofposition} tag in your article to display any module in that article. you need to make sure that the Load Position plugin is published, else you will only see the tag when the article is accessed. You can put as many tags as you need and can publish multiple modules in a single position..
You need to create a normal menu item for a single article and you will see the modules in the page, where generally you would see some text and images from the article..
hope this solves your issues.
