I put my menu list in alphabetical order in the menu list section but it refuses to show correctly in the browser!
I will explain in images….and YES IHAVE CLEARED CASCHES 😉

This happened to me once and I solved it by going through the menu table in the database and assigning right sublevels to the menu items. Another way is to remove the links and add them again… just takes a lot more time

How did you do that….I am assuming all my menu’s are pointing to the correct pages as they do al work.
March 23, 2010 at 7:20 pm #337470I use phpmyadmin for database management but any way will do.
Some of the menu items in the jos_menu table of the database used with my site were assigned to wrong sublevel. I assume thats the problem you are facing but maybee it’s something else.So what I did was go through the database records for the submenu that was mixed up an check if all the items were asigned to the right sublevel. (there is a number for every menu item in the “sublevel” collumn of the jos_menu table)
All the items in the “Picture list 1” submenu should be assigned to sublevel 2. If they are not, then that probably is what is causing the problem. The problem can then be fixed by changing the sublevel value of all the items in this submenu to 2.
hope this is clear enough, let me know if this works.
