in this file /templates/ja_university/css/menu/mega.css

background: url("../../images/mainnav-active-bg.gif") repeat-x scroll left top #1B212A
color: #FFFFFF !important;
}

If you are using a theme then the folder where to change image mainnav-active-bg.gif will be themetheme_colorimages
