    Please help!

    Thanks in advance,

    When you say that you menu has shifted down . . . do you mean that this occurred after some modification you made?
    Or did this just seem to happen randomly?

    Dear Tom,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I made NO modification in the menu, except changing the menu item type and menu item title.

    Prior to that I have not made any change.

    Right now the only change I made was to the /blocks/topbar.php in order to translate the date to Portuguese and /html/mod_jalogin/default.php in order to translate a few things because some strings were NOT in the module language file.

    Also, I had to change these two files encoding to UTF-8 in order to work with Portuguese special characters.

    However all those changes were made after I noticed the menu problem;

    Been roundtabling this issue with several of my Support Team Colleagues – and we’re a bit perplexed.
    We even installed the JA Social template on our own localhosts, and the menu displayed as it should (like in the demo).

    We’re escalating the issue to our JA Devs to take a more in-depth look and, hopefully, solution.

    Stay Tuned !!!

    Dear Tom,

    I’m sorry for the trouble. I’ve tried to find a fix, but wasn’t lucky either;
    I have provided FTP and administrator access when I first posted this message, so feel free to log in and debug if you want (the site is NOT live);

    All the best,

    I just now installed JA Social template for Joomla 2.5 on localhost and I have exactly the same problem as described in first post. I’m using wampserver version 2.2 and I haven’t done any modifications.

    Douglas … check your site now.

    Several files needed to be modified . . .
    – /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/core/menu/base.class.php
    – /templates/ja_social/blocks/header.php
    – /templates/ja_social/css/menu/mega.css

    The original files are still there, but with a “1” at the end, so you can compare the modifications.

    Dear Tom,

    Many thanks.

    Will this fix be added to the template?
    I’m concerned when I upgrade in the future.

    I’m thinking it already has been.

    I downloaded the templated again and menu is OK now, thanks for these modifications you have made.
