September 7, 2011 at 4:46 pm #168279I’m thinking of using this template. Checked out the demo and for the life of me can’t seem to find a way to select an option to change
1. the colour theme of the template (demo)
2. are teh sub-menu items supposed to be so plain (and ugly 🙂 )??? What I see is some simple underlined text as a sub-menu. It seems at odds with the look of this template. How does one change the look of the sub-menus?Cheers,

All of the elements you indicate above can be modified/customized via the relative CSS rules and classes within the template file structure.

September 7, 2011 at 6:06 pm #411297Thanks for the speedy response Tom.
I’m just wondering, any idea why this template’s sub-menus were left so un-styled?JA’s templates are typically styled throughout. just wondering…

Can’t really comment on the thought process of our JA Development Team as they were coding in the styling for this, or any, particular template. It doesn’t really matter, though, does it? After all, the idea is for you – as the web designer – to take the base/core template and modify/customize further toward creating a unique looking/feeling web experience for your intended audience. After all …. if everyone used the same template and didn’t change anything – how boring would that be? 😎

September 7, 2011 at 6:16 pm #411303haha! Yes, Tom, i get your point.
It’s just that the more the template is “completed” the faster it can get deployed. I’ve created many J! sites and the styling (other than color perhaps) of the submenus is something I rarely have to muck around with. It’s usually integrated with the style of the templlate (font, size, etc).
Thanks again, for this one, If i select it, I’ll firebug the CSS to change the “ugly” default styling 🙂

Bring up the demo . . . . In the upper right corner of your screen you should see a tab that says “CPANEL.”Click on that and a drop down will display. From there you can choose to view the various color options.
