First off I did see this thread but its not much help.

I’m using Joomla 1.5 and I want the subtitles to go away. I go to the menu item > Parameters – System > erase the page title and set “show page title” to No. But the subtitle still shows up as the menu title so it looks like this:

I would like it to just look like this:
