    Hello,

    when I tested with firefox 4, the typo of the top menu has changed.
    The text has become fatter and consequently greater.

    see the screenshots : firefox 3 & firefox 4

    Is it possible to fix this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Yes, i used Windows 7 and Firefox 4, i have checked this issue on both my PC and friend’s PC, everything is working fine.
    Please see my snapshot.

    You try clearing cache of browser and t3 cache then check this

    OK, so i cleared the cache but nothing change.

    I made a test on two different laptop with a fresh install of Windows7 (32 & 64 bits) and with Firefox4, and the menu still look like with a bold typo….
    see screenshot : firefox4-fresh-install-W7.jpg
    I also made a test from a different internet connexion.

    I made a test with Windows XP and Firefox 4. Everything is ok.
    see screenshot : firefox4-windowsXP.png

    The test is performed from the demo joomlart’s website

    So I don’t understand what’s happen…

    update :
    so if I check with Firebug I see this line :
    #ja-megamenu ul.level0 {
    font-family: ArialNarrowBold,”Arial Narrow”,Arial,sans-serif;
    }

    What do you have ? I think it’s the same ?

    An otherthing for the demo, I have see two errors with firebug :

    Now I see (always with Firebug) that it’s the same typo for the menu and for the photo gallery.
    see the screenshot : 2011-04-06 16h40_30.png

    Any Idea ?

    Update : I made a test on a Windows 2008 server R2, everything is fine.

    Ok I explain again.

    Open the screenshot (firefox3-firefox4.jpg) and look at the font in the menu.
    In Firefox 3 it’s ok, but in Firefox 4, it’s appear more ‘fat’, and it isn’t very nice.

    PS : in Firefox 4, the advertisement “What’s new in the ja teline IV ?” doens’t appear !!
    And I can’t see the position in the file “teline_iv-module-position.jpg” from your website.

    I have the same problem What’s the solution?

    minsunlee Friend

    Hi I foud solution…

    In mega.css located /templates/ja_teline_iv/css/menu

    instead of

    #ja-megamenu ul.level0 {

    font-family:ArialNarrowBold, "Arial Narrow", Arial, sans-serif;

    }

    change it to

    #ja-megamenu ul.level0 {

    font-family: "Arial Narrow", Arial, sans-serif;
    font-stretch: extra-condensed

    }

    and instead of

    /* Styling ---*/

    #ja-megamenu ul.level1 { font-family: Arial, sans-serif; }

    this

    /* Styling ---*/

    #ja-megamenu ul.level1 { font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-stretch: normal; }

    in the same file
    That worked for me

    Thanks you, it’s working.:)
    But I don’t know where is the problem with the ‘ArialNarrowBold’ ??

    A other solution is to use Google Fonts.
    Example here with > font-family: ‘Droid Sans’;

    See attachement : jatelineIV-droidsans.png

    But (of course, (this template is so buggy>:(!)), there is the bug if CSS menu is selected….
    See post here : http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/blank-in-css-menu/
    And attachement : jatelineIV-bug-css-menu.png

    but, really, the template is showing well on my pic, http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/menu-typo-bold-firefox-3-firefox-4/#post-385123

    Maybe your pc is missing this font?, you or anyone help check on an other pc.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    well I think it is high time to find a solution to this problem ..!

    Can you seriously consider this ?

    I continued my investigations, and the problem could come from the following line (in / css / templates.css):

    @ import url (.. / fonts / arialnarrow / stylesheet.css);

    What do you think about this ?
