Good Evening All,
Firstly, thank you so much for this lovely template! Truly a wonderful job…
I’ve two quick questions (hopefully quick):
1) I was looking at your demo site with the blue-lite theme set… and was curious how you changed the menu window background to a lighter shaded blue? I’m referencing the Main Menu window resting in the ‘left’ module location, next to the Twitter module. I find this blue to be a perfect shade to let it stand out.
2) I’d like to remove the border and background shade of one of the modules in the ‘left’ and ‘right’ location… how can this be done on only one module in either location?
Thanks a bunch,
Benjamin

November 8, 2010 at 1:44 pm #361940Good Morning Tien,
Thanks so much for the reply. I’ve added an image… note the two items I’m questioning:
1) How to create the blue’ish background color for the main-menu
2) How to remove the border from the Twitter moduleThank you!

November 8, 2010 at 1:54 pm #361942To remove border from Twitter module, you must edit your template.css file. Find this:
.sidebar div.ja-moduletable, .sidebar div.moduletable {
background:url("/ja_community_plus/templates/ja_community_plus/images/modt-bg.gif") repeat-x scroll left top #F7F6F2;
border:1px solid #E3DED5;
color:#8B8077;
padding:15px;
}and change border:1px solid #E3DED5; to none;
To apply blue module style, did you try to enter _blue module suffix from the module manager?

November 8, 2010 at 2:12 pm #361948Hi Kobenes,
I’ll give the Twitter module suggestion a try… and will report back.
Regarding the menu style, I did try setting the mdule suffix to “_blue”, but the menu doesn’t change. Is there perhaps another setting on the menu item I’m overlooking?
Kindly,
Benjamin

Found a ‘_noborder’ css style, and it worked in clearing the border around one of my modules!
Still no luck with the blue menu yet…

November 8, 2010 at 2:20 pm #361950I am looking for it and if any solution I will share with you.
BTW did you install sample data or not? Because if you install it you can check it from the module manager that which module suffix used.1 user says Thank You to kobenes for this useful post
November 8, 2010 at 2:49 pm #361954Thanks a bunch Kobenes,
I did not install the template with the sample data… I installed it from scratch.

You can add _menu mod_blue module suffix to have blue style…
