Hi,
I really need help with menus. I have selected css menu but I don’t get the effects like having the drop down effects of the menu. How does one add subsequent items under a menu. For instance if first item of menu was News then submenus are International, National, Local, how do I get the drop down effect or add sub menus?
Also, how do I replace the JA Lolite logo and text at the top left with mine?
Thanks

June 20, 2008 at 3:03 pm #254989Make sure none of your menu items is a seperator. And the Menu Type in the template configuration is correctly pointed to the menu that you are using. I had a Seperator menu item and it kiboshed the whole menu.
The logo can be replaced in the template folder under images/ its called logo.png . Its a transparent logo so remember that if you want the black background to show through it.
June 20, 2008 at 7:24 pm #255043Thank you for your response. The menu type has been indicated in the template configuration. What do you mean by a menu item being a separator? Please I will appreciate if you could explain further.
Thanks

June 20, 2008 at 7:35 pm #255044in the Type of menu item you created. in the menu view there should be a column called type. look down that column and see if any our your men items are a seperator.

June 21, 2008 at 3:21 am #255104Hi.
Do you have any successful ?June 21, 2008 at 2:24 pm #255177Hi All,
The fault was mine as I did not understand the basics, but I am now sorted. To accomplish that, I had to create new menu items so that they have a parent item. If About Us is a main Menu Item, sub menus like Our History, Our Activities, etc should be created and assigned under About Us as parent item. Thanks alot guys.
Then, a different question, how do I reduce the height of the Newflash Module? It occupies a lot of space. Also, I’d like to change the background colour from black to something else.
Thanks

June 23, 2008 at 4:41 am #255371HI
You can change height of Newsflash module in template.css (line 880)
#ja-topsl {
color:#FFFFFF;
height:220px; <-- change height here
position:relative;
background: <-- add backround as you want}
And change backgound here template.css (line 901)
#ja-topsl .nfcontent {
background:#000000 none repeat scroll 0% 0%; <-- change backround follow background above
color:#C9C0B7;
font-size:175%;
