I just finished migrating the site from on site to another site within the same server. All files and databases were moved without issues. Everything seems to be working except:
1) The home page does not seem to be working properly. It will not display the cpannel tab top right, drop down menus nor the slideshow.
2) The site will not show banner image site wide
The funny thing is when I go to the fifth menu. (blog) the sit comes back to life with the drop down menus and cpannel tab but still no banner image.
I have re-installed the site twice. I have also re-installed the templates and plugins..
I am up to date with all updates and using joomla 2.5. I am stuck and can’t seem to get the menus to work on the home page..

Please check that links were not corrupted in the transfer. If jUpgrade was used, I find that unpublishing and republishing will sometimes reset things.
It was a straight ftp move. Just downloaded the directry and uploaded it to the new directory, imported the new database, then changed the config.php. I was running joomla 2.5.3. all the logs show no errors. I am not sure if it a template issue or a joomla issue.
Issue solved. It seemed some files where corrupted in the upload.
