December 19, 2012 at 12:13 pm #183252Hey, great template but have small problem, the thememagic dont work, throws me to default site without options.
Another thing i have noticed is that when i have 2 templates installed at the same site one is T3v2 and this Mero and when i try to assign a K2 item to the Menu with mero template it DOES NOT give me option only Nex template in K2 template dropdown.
By the way i am running NEX as main template and wanted only for one category to run Mero, and that is what happens.
Please help
ATM site is locally in development so i dont change stuff online.

December 20, 2012 at 4:34 am #476873Hi splico123,
Do you mean that when you create a new menu item and assign K2 item to this menu item, but there is no option in Select item field?
Please make it clearer, some screenshots will be helpful here so that I can reproduce this error and give you advice.
Regards

December 20, 2012 at 4:43 pm #476967No, what i mean is that if you have installed 2 templates, NEX and MERO, only one of the two, depending which one is DEFAULT gives you options for K2 styling.
IF YOU have installed NEX as default all you see in K2 articles is NEX and NEX BLOG styling even though you have installed MERO template.
So when you want to assign mero to certain item you can not add MERO style too to that category of K2.
SIMPLE WORDING:
K2 style depends on template that you use, so that makes use of 2 templates useless since you can not get both styles in list even if both templates are installed. which should be fixed.

December 21, 2012 at 4:01 am #477028It’s impossible to achieve that since when you use JA Nex template, it would load template file inside JA Nex template folder, if you want to have more than Nex and Nex Blog styling for K2. You could make your own and copy to directory of JA Nex template: templatesja_nexhtmlcom_k2templates

December 21, 2012 at 1:50 pm #477090It will update the old files if there are any changes, your custome folder will be save. However, it’s always better if you take a BACKUP before updating anything.
We also have compare tool to check which file will be modified / added in the new version: http://update.joomlart.com/#products.list///
