Hi all,

Set up my virtuemart store on Mesolite. However the Product slider and VM featured products modules show up on every page, despite setting the module to only appear at Home.

As a result all the pages look like the front page.

Can you help?

To add – i have searched this forum and found someone with a similar problem with an earlier VM integrated template. He resolved it by comparing it to a JA-News module problem which was identical –

HOWEVER – he did not explain what he changed in index.php – Can someone help?

Hi jalp123 !
I have checked your site , all link to Virtuemart have Itemid is “1”, this is itemid of Home menu. so Features product and product slide always display in top content , to fix the problem you can do it following steps below :
– Go to admin >> extensions >> modules manager >> select Featured Products module and mod_ja_vmproductslide module –> you must make sure that them only display on Home menu.
– Go to menu change itemid for Virtuemart menu item.

I don’t think its nothing to do with menu. It’s the cart problem.

As you said, virtuemart shopping cart link is somehow linking to item=1

Also tax colum appears in the wrong place, and even I disable the tax, the tax colum appears and says” tax $0″.

Can you help? I don’t think it happens in the original VM. Thanx

your problem is missing Shop menu , you must create a menu link to virtuemart when link to categories of our products module will get itemid from shop menu.
I have created a menu shop in Top menu , so it doesn’t display on frontent.
