Hi,

in the JA Mero template, the layout tab in the Template Manager shows two positions named “message” and “component”. I would like to use those, but when I assign a module to it (by typing the name of any of those two positions), it doesn’t show up on the website.

Hi Dirk,

The “message” and “component” in JA Mero layout refers to the type of contents rendered in the template, it is not position. For instance, the “component” type will show data from component, see the screenshot for reference:

The format to load these type attribute is as follows:

<jdoc:include type="message" />
<jdoc:include type="component" />
