I am using JA Teline as well as K2. I am noticing that it is not displaying the meta data for the description of the K2 article. It is picking it up from either global setting or the menu setting. Someone recommended checking with the creator of the template. The site is: theandygram.com.

Hello Theandygram,

Please check this link http://getk2.org/community/New-to-K2-Ask-here-first/13142-METADATA-item-keywords-not-showing-in-source and you can see that the problem is from K2, not from template.

You can try the last solution:
