December 14, 2013 at 3:16 am #192967I have altered in Global Configuration of the website backend in joomla and entered the correct metadata info why is JA OnePage still displaying the Joomla metadata.
It is very annoying that this site has been live for 3 months now and it still has not changed.
Where else in this confusing array of included files is such a simple change to be made!
It should be right in the most obvious place in Global and not hidden somewhere else.
Aaron.

December 14, 2013 at 6:47 am #515424Hi
Could you send me via Private Message a super user account to your backend ?
In this way we can better check settings for it and verify if this could be a template bug

December 14, 2013 at 11:32 am #515442Hi
I checked your website and you have the original metadata still there in your home menu item
Go to main menu — home menu item – click on metadata options – there you can change the metadata for your home page
also for the google analytics code you can add it going to template manager >> your default template ( modern ) Injection tab and add the code <script> ..analytics script…</script> inside the box that says Before </head>
Please for any other problem you can encounter, missing documentation, something not properly working etc etc feel free to ask here on forum you will always find someone to help you
Hope my suggestions will solve your questions

April 12, 2015 at 4:42 pm #566672Hi,
I faced the same problem as nzslashman and I followed the instruction you suggested, changing the metadata in Global Configuration and Home Menu Item > Advance Option > Metadata Option, however the joomla metadata is still exist.
Any other direction should I aware of?
Thanks!

April 13, 2015 at 9:54 am #566752April 13, 2015 at 10:04 am #566754Hi,
thanks for your clarification.
I tried to “google” the website and found the description of my website.
I still can see the Joomla infor below the my website link. Correct me if i’m wrong, the metadata should display in the highligthed area as per attached?
