We have a client that needs their site migrated from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. They currently have JA Voice installed on their 1.5 site. Can someone please tell me what is involved in getting JA Voice installed on the 2.5 site and ALL of their data moved over correctly? We need to preserve voices, categories, votes, remaining votes, etc.

Hi directive,

In this case, you need to upgrade manually because migrating from J1.5 to j2.5 is very difficult. There are so many differences between these 2 versions. You can try in this way:

+ Backup currently site is running with J1.5

+ Export DB tables of JA Voice from 1.5 to 2.5

+ Install latest JA Voice version
