I have been a a JA subscriber for many months. However, I have yet to use one of the templates. I hear great things about the megamenu in particular!

I have used YooTheme templates for a couple years and since I haven’t had to build a serious site in a while, even though I’m no longer a subscriber to YooTheme I am still using the templates I have on my existing sites.

My questions are about comparing the two. Has anyone used both and could give a comparison between them….pitfalls, common issues, different paradigms to summarize? If I have an existing site with a YT template what types of things do I need to be concerned about going to JA templates? Are there conflicting frameworks or plugins that I need to worry about removing, etc?

    Thanks for any advice!

I think the best way to compare the overall functionality and administration/framework of the JA Templates (against that of the other you mentioned) is to utilize JA’s DEMO BUILDER to explore both the frontend and backend of any given JoomlArt Template.

The Demo Builder allows you to explore and play around with various settings in a real-time setting
    – so you can explore through the T3 Framework and learn how it functions.
