Hi I’m making my first Joomla site using the T3 Framework and I’ve just transferred the site from my locahost to a development server. I’m getting an error relates to the LESS files I believe. I’ve maxed out my server PHP memory limit to 256M so I’m not sure why this error would show up.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/gsqtestc/public_html/thewinepoint-dev/plugins/system/t3/includes/lessphp/lessc.inc.php on line 3199
Even when I try to login to the administration panel I get this error
Warning: require_once(__DIR__/helper.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/gsqtestc/public_html/thewinepoint-dev/administrator/modules/mod_betterpreview/mod_betterpreview.php on line 34
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '__DIR__/helper.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/gsqtestc/public_html/thewinepoint-dev/administrator/modules/mod_betterpreview/mod_betterpreview.php on line 34
I’m thinking this could be a limitation of my server to run LESS files but I just need clarification or someone to point me in the right direction so I can get this sorted. Cheerio!

July 26, 2013 at 8:27 pm #500277Hi
What procedure you used to move your website from local to server ?
You used Akeeba backup component ?
July 26, 2013 at 8:29 pm #500278Nup I didn’t use Akeeba. I created a subdomain and copied all my local files to the server. Then I exported my database and changed the configuration. This is the process I’ve been using for other CMS’ so I figured it will be relatively the same process. Should I do a fresh installl and use Akeeba?

July 26, 2013 at 8:44 pm #500281Install Akeeba component on your localhost take a backup with it then move the backup to your server and install it again
Drop all tables of your DB before to use it
July 26, 2013 at 8:48 pm #500282Would I need to make any changes to the DB sql file before dropping it into the new DB? Things like replacing all pre-fixes for DB or renaming the localhost path to the development site.

When you will install with Akeeba it will asks to you the database name – database password – and the suffix for your db – you can change the suffix as you prefer – you don’t need to change nothing else because it will override your local db in the new server db using your info

Great I’m working through it as I type this and I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks pavit!
July 26, 2013 at 9:52 pm #500287Do I just copy my backup from localhost to the ‘administrator/components/com_akeeba/backups’ folder on the the server. Then I’m gussing it will show up in the backups files where I simple have to administer it. Is this correct? Transferring files via FTP takes forever so I wanna get this right the first time 🙂

I’ve copied the backup to the ‘backups’ folder on the server but it’s not showing up in the ‘administer backup files’ section. Should i be using Akeeba Kickstart to do this?
