Hello,
I have a site with Teline IV 1.2.4 with J1.5.22 and I’d migrate this site at Teline IV J2.5.
I’ve read your response in this forum, but I’m confuse:
from what I understand, I must update the site using the steps that you have indicated with JUpgrade and so reinstall the template and the extensions.
But unfortunately some files have been customized and modified as needed (eg, date format, logo, etc.)..
In addition, all articles published in the extension K2 to them?
May not that you can not migrate directly without reinstalling everything and customize the site again?

Hello infovasciaveo,
If you put your customized files in “templates/<template_name>/html/”. You can copy them to your new Joomla 2.5 site. If you didn’t do that, you need to customize them again in your new site.

But I don’t remembre one to one any customization that I realized in 3 years over Teline IV for J1.5.
And for the articles in K2, how I do the migration?
There are not a solution by migrate from Teline IV J1.5 to Teline IV J2.5?

Hello infovasciaveo,
If you don’t remember which files you customized on Joomla 1.5, you need to re-customize them again on new Joomla 2.5 site.
K2 component is compatible with Joomla 1.5 & 2.5, so its database structure won’t be changed 🙂
