Hi; I will be migrating to this new (and terrific) Teline III template.

Has anyone tried to migrate any parts of the Teline II data over to the new template? I would like to avoid as much mundane labor as possible.

I’d also like to migrate from Teline II to Teline III.

As a test, I just changed from one to the other to see what it looked like and it didn’t look good. Images were overlapping text and things seemed to be organised in a different way.

I had hoped to carry out the migration before I went away for a couple of weeks (today) but I have decided to wait to see if there is any online guidance by the time I get back.

If somebody can offer some migration advice, or even a walkthrough, I for one will be extremely grateful.

You basically need to re-build the whole site. As each site differs from other, there would not be a simple way of just upgrading.

I tried first with Teline 2, but when the beta come out i relised quick that it wouldn’t work, so just rebuilding your site is the best thing you can do.

I was afraid of that, but thought I would ask just in case the SQL data from the menus were the same.

I also want to get the articles in Teline II into Teline III with all the dates the same as they are now.

Articles and the whole content will be the very same, however you need to rebuild the menus, the modules etc.

The insole teline I find II it magnifies.
I don’t understand like they are happened to take out teline III.
Without applying the improvements or upgrades of Twetter and Bolletin in teline II.

What represents a true setback to reconstruct the place from zero.

I hope they reflect about the improvements in teline II.
