May 5, 2009 at 12:24 pm #140909I have a site running Joomla (http://www.livingstonefc.com)1.013 and the JA_Zibal Template.
I have downloaded the Joomla1.5 version of the template and I’m now checking documentation on migrating from Joomla 1 to 1.5.
I made a few css/image customisations to the version 1 Ja Zibal css template. How do I ensure these are retained in the new template? Is the 1.5 css template exactly the same? I.e. could I use the old template css file for the new 1.5 template or are there quite a few differences that I will have to go through manually?
Thanks in advance

As quang268, said. enable legacy plugin and use the old template.
1. Migrate your site to J 1.5.xx
2. Enable legacy plugin from Extensions>>Plugin Manager.
3. Upload your JA Zibal (old site ) folder via ftp to new site templates folder.
4. Make your Ja Zibal as default template.Ja Zibal is a great template, it was my reason to join JA. Good to see a Ja Zibal still in action.
Your joomla version is 1.10.13, upgrade it to 1.10.15, if you plan to migrate at later stage. Always use latest Joomla version and keep backups.

May 9, 2009 at 8:44 am #304132I’ve done a complete reinstall to Joomla 1.5 and used the new version of template.
Took quite a while comparing the css files between old and new (the suckerrfish css is a bit different and now in ja_css.css rather than ja_sosd.css (beware – not exactly sure of filenames).
Site now fully 1.5’ed at http://www.livingstonefc.com
