    Hello,

I had the same issues with the Booksshop template as per below..

I want to use these Mijoshop templates with the standard T3 Bs3 and Bootstrap2 templates….

So this is what I have done:

    1) install T3 quickstart package

    2) Transfer the Decor Mijoshop template to the components directory (as per instructions..btw I have used Mijoshop a lot before JoomlArt started making templates for it)

    3) Add a menu item to Mijoshop HOME

    4) navigate to front end and check out new template

    5) as per above, as usual, the template is all messed up!

Why can’t we use your Mijoshop templates with the T3 default install?

Do we need some css code thats in the css folder? If so, what code in which file?

I am not rookie when it comes to Joomla no the t3 framework…infact, i build most of my sites from the default T3 quickstart package.

    Please advise..

I can send a screen shot if someone realy wants one, but all i can say is that maybe 50% of the Mijoshop template doesnt display like your demo site..I looks horrible as it is.

As our template is based on our new T3 framework which use Boostrap 3, thus the conflict occurs when you use Mijoshop template on T3 framework version that uses Boostrap 2.

I am afraid for not being of much help in this case. To avoid the conflict between Boostrap 2 and 3, it is recommended to use our latest T3 framework.

Hello, please go back and read my OP. I am hacing the issue with Bootstrap 3…..I only mentioned that I would like to use it with Bs3 and BS2….That being said, the code for Mijoshop from Bookshop template was actually bootstrap 2 and I personally upgraeded it to Bs3 on my test site..

Either way, no one seems to read whats been written and understand the issue..

    Do the following:

    1) Install T3 BS3 quickstart pagage

    2) Install Mijoshop

    3) transfer the Mijoshop template and enable it in backend of MijoShop

    4) create your menu item to Mijoshop

    5) navigate to front end and notice how screwed up it all looks

@austenn01: It would be best if you can PM admin and ftp credentials of your site, I will help to investigate the issue.

I am happy to do this, but this is an issue with EVERY MijoShop template that JoomlArt has brought it. I would really like a JoomlArt developer to follow exactly what I asked above… This is NOT a specific issue with just my setup…

If you try and add ANY JoomlArt MijoShop template to ANY exisiting Joomla site (specifically T3 Blank BS3 version), MijoShop looks all messed up.

Can anyone please just try exactly what I have listed above, so they can see this is not an issue with my specific setup…..

    Ill repeat it again:

    1) Install T3 BS3 quickstart pagage

    2) Install Mijoshop

    3) transfer the Mijoshop template and enable it in backend of MijoShop

    4) create your menu item to Mijoshop

    5) navigate to front end and notice how screwed up it all looks

We provide themes that natively support Mijoshop component in JA Bookshop and JA Decor Template only, not all JA templates.

Thus, if you install Mijoshop component with T3 Blank BS3 template, your site will run with default theme of Mijoshop component instead.

Did you read that I transferred the JoomlArt developed MijoShop Theme right? I am very aware that if I JUST install Mijoshop I will only get default MijoShop default theme. As I have said, i have worked with MijoShop extensively, well before MijoShop came on JoomlArts radar.

I ask again, as I am sure I am not the only one here that wants to use a particaulr JoomlArt MijoShop template with another joomlart template that didnt come with ecommerce support.

Please, i ask for a third time, can someone please follow the instructions I listed above.

it is easy enough to do whatever I want with module styles, but when the default component is all screwed up, this should AT LEAST work.
