    Hello Pritam,

I have changed the code and all icons are appearing now. But ….

The other problem is that they are displayed in vertical order (should be horizontal). The same is happening with my tags, ratings, K2 categories, sub-categories and items: They are all displayed in one column only. There is already a thread with you about his problem!

    Pritam,

I have restored the old css file. The template colors were very different. I will see if I made the changes correctly and try again later.

    Hi everybody,

I have the same problems as teutobahiano: tags, ratings, pagination of K2 items (if) displayed are all aligned verticall and no social icons at all.
I have Joomla 1.7.2., K2 version 2.5.3, site: http://pofagyalu.hu. I did not install the Social template from quickstart because I already had a live site. I have css optimization/compression off. Would you please help me? Thank you.

    Hi pofagyalu,

After two week trying to get work my template (TelineIV) with K2 on an existing Joomla 1.5 site I gave up. Many Joomlart templates are supposed to work with K2, but they do not work 100%. So after having lost a lot of time I decided to create a brand new site based on the quickstart files (Joomla 1.6) and without K2. Not really a perfect solution but … By the way: Are you sure that the JA Social template for Joomla 1.7 is intended to work with K2?

    Hi teutobahiano,

I did find some solution. I changed K2->Parameters->Layout& views->CSS & Javascript settings->K2 default CSS to Enabled and
suddenly all things went to horizontal. I hope and think the template should work with K2 because it appears on the Joomlart info page

    Hi pofagyla,

there seems to be a misunderstanding: You wrote “I did not install the Social template from quickstart because I already had a live site”. The JA Social template, as far as I know, does not work with K2.

Nevertheless the solution you found is extremely useful for “K2 fanatics”, and even for the guys of the Joomlart Support. Only one question: Which K2 version you are using with your Teline IV template?
