I’m running Joomla 3.6 with the new T3 2.6 and the general tab that allows me to set the article style for images "default, dark, image background" is missing. How can I set these styles in the upgrade?

The attached image is what used to be there and now the tab is gone.

still not there.. I have system JA content type enabled and have never seen an Ajax plugin

If you look at THIS PAGE you will see the plugin listed into the available download
so download and install it .

The Ajax still didn’t work. I am running a different local site on Joomla 3.4 and I see the tab there but it wasn’t on my 3.5 or 3.6 when I upgraded.

I’m running on a local server so you wouldn’t be able to log in. Are you sure that mags ii runs smoothly on joomla 3.6?

As you can see from my image below , i have a quickstart version running perfect on Joomla 3.6

Move your website on a public host and we are able to help you , on a local server it’s impossible to debug it , since you can have issues with your local settings.

As you can see from image below, if i add a new article it shows correctly the general tab
