    es its friday,

For the slideshow, avatar and newsflash…do we need to setup module positions…if so, what should be defined as….

    I don’t understand the B,C,E descriptions.

    thanks,

Yes, you need to create the module positions within Template Manager->Module Positions within your Joomla CP. Very simple to do . . . simply fill in the name of the module into an open position, save it, and you will now have that module position available to you in your Modules Manager.

    NOTE:
The name will have to match the module name in your template. If you are not sure what the module name in the template is, go to Site-Preview-Inline with Positions and see what the module position is called. You can always change the name within the index.php file …. but if you are not comfortable with this process, it’s best just to keep the names already there.

    thanks Tom,

However, if you take a look at the index.php for this template you might find it a little more “complicated.” It seems the avatar position 9if i am seeing this right) is hardcoded to find image/images in a specific folder . So, how does that work? What is I have more than one avatar pick and I want to specify a particular one.

I can see that the newsflash is picking up on User5 position (if i remember correctly) and that the Slider is simply put into the “left” position and should ru from there (although I did that and it is not performing correctly).

any ideas, help, just curious (GREAT template by the way),

    Jason
