I have an article on my site which has an email address in it, so people can send me details of beer-related events.

In the editor it looks just fine but when I publish and look at it on the live site, the space before the email address is missing. It looks silly.

Any idea how to fix this?

Edit – this works fine in IE7 but not in FF

Weird, as most other problems I have with Joomla are with IE7!

that’s quite strange – i’ve got this template on a site i’m working on and it doesn’t do that at all.

have you tried checking the html code after you’ve added the mailto using the editor. to do that simply add everything (including the mailto) and then click on the html icon in the editor and double check if there’s a space there.

If not then it’s definitely a typo.
