Hi all
Im trying to install teline II, in joomla 1.5.10, as a new tempalte each time i download gives me XML setup file missing.Could someone help me to solve thhi s issue?

when you download the file you need to unzip(extract) it on your local drive, then you will have various folders, in the one named template will be the template file you use if all you want is to add the template to a preexisting website, use the joomla template manager to install
if you want to set it up like the dmoe, use the file in the quickstart folder, that is a full install of joomla and you uplaod it and install like joomla

Unzip it and use FTP , upload it to root/templates directory.

Many thanks for your help.However ive uploaded the template but the complete demo with the quickstart didnt accepted, still mentionining missing xml setup file.
By the way what should i do to install the demo exactly as i did from joomlart, i want the demo exactly as i saw in jommlart.

Why don’t you list or provide the steps you are taking to install it.
I remember getting that error by Installing my template on top of Joomla. In other words, I downloaded Joomla and installed, then I tried to install the quick start, basicly I was’t following the instructions provided by JA

I unzipped and tried to install just the template zip file…same problem.
I did not try to FTP it yet however.

I unzipped the template installer and used ftp to upload it. When I went to edit it I got this message on the top of the screen:
# JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
# JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
# JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
The rest of the config screen was in tact.
I can not install this template.>:(

If you unzip the quckstart file and you ftp the teline folder to your server that will work.
The template installer zip file contains a teline folder that will not work properly when you ftp it or when you try to install it.
