    Hi,
This template has worked well for me so far but I noticed problems when I view it on a mobile browser.

    1. When I open it up on a Safari in portrait mode or landscape mode, it renders fine however, when I change the orientation, it causes my browser to crash. I then have to re-open the browser and re-load the website.

    Please advise.
    Thanks!

@cheryl: Can you post your site’s url here? I will take a look into the issue.

    Hi,
I have sent you a private message with the sites URL. Please let me know if you have trouble accessing it.
    Thanks!

I tried to check but could not reproduce the same issue of browser orientation on our iPod and iPhone 4 as you mentioned. However, we just can load your website only when inputting www. before your site domain.

Could you try to clear browser cache and check the site again? if possible, you can ask someone to test your site on their iOS devices with Safari browser.

    Hi Leo,
Thank you for checking on this. I checked again and looks like we are still facing this issue 🙁

When I load the page using Safari on my iPod in portrait mode, it loads fine. I then change the orientation to landscape with the website still on the browser. When I do this, the browser crashes i.e. the entire phone screen goes blank and takes me to the iPod desktop where I have to select Safari in landscape mode and then reload the website. The website seems to have trouble readjusting from portrait to landscape and vice-versa when the orientation is changed on the fly.

I’m trying to optimize the page hoping that a heavy page is causing this problem but I think your team might be better aware of causes and fixes to problems

You know I do not mean to ignore your issue with orientation modes. But, in fact I could not reproduce the same issue when I tried to check your website on both our iPod, iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with Safari. The page reacted properly with orientation change and did not refresh any time. You can see the attached images to see the result at my end.

However, I still suggest you ask someone else to check the site on their iOS devices and let me know how it goes.

In addition, page optimization will help to improve the site performance and help your site to display better on iOS devices with Safari. You can try on that.

    Hi Leo,
Thank you for your quick response on this matter.
From my end, I cleaned out my iPod cache and tested it again. Even though it crashes the first time I change orientation, it works fine once I reopen the browser and change orientation again.
Thanks for all your help in the matter and for all your suggestions.
    -Cheryl.
