Hello…i just converted a template (teline2) so its width would be 300 pixels…I figured that would work on any decent mobile phone. Problem is, when i check it out with an iphone, its alot smaller than it should be… it gets resized somehow to work on the phone.

Is iphone doing this or joomla or the joomla template?

JoomlArt templates automatically change when using a normal mobile phone browser.
Play around with the normal specs, and see how it looks using this mobile emulator: http://mtld.mobi/emulator.php

Careful though – uses Java and might freeze your PC for a few seconds!

Not that I am aware off. Try sending an email to support staff – they should be able to give you a proper answer. There aren’t many topics here about mobile support – hence the low levels of support available about this topic.

The only reason why I know is because I became so interested in the release of the new “.tel” domain which was made for mobile phones and ended up viewing JoomlArt sites in mobile browsers!!

Oh and I couldn’t get the emulator to work for me either – I think it’s down for some reason. Hopefully it’ll be back up soon!
