Hello,
I have two questions related to the display of my site on mobile devices:
When I checked my site in the past on my FHD mobile phone, I got the ‘desktop’ site displayed. Which worked well. When I check my site nowadays I get the ‘mobile’ site displayed.
What determines which site is displayed on which device? And can I edit this (other than the layout settings)?
Second: I have the brown theme on my site. When I check my site on my mobile device, the background is white. Which means that my logo is not visible anymore. White also is not standard header color. Can you tell me what goes wrong here? And how I can fix it?
The only thing that I recently changed in the related settings is that the left column is now 19% and the main is 81%. I changed this in the layout tab, for the ‘default’ layout only, see below.
<div id=”ja-main” style=”width: 81%; min-height: 3759px;”>
<div id=”ja-left” class=”column sidebar” style=”width: 19%; min-height: 3759px;”>
Another question: is there software available to test a site on different mobile devices, to see what and how it is displayed? On the internet I only found sites that give a screen size, but it always assumes the default (desktop) site to be displayed.
Thanks!
Peter
