December 30, 2013 at 6:58 pm #193355Hi,
When loading the site on mobile or tablet, all the content loads, but it doesn’t seem to be loading the mobile / tablet CSS.
If loading on iPhone in portrait, the content expands past the screen, but as soon as the iPhone is flipped landscape and then portrait again, the CSS resizing is managed properly / Mobile Nav is loaded. Sorry – it’s quite hard to explain, but you’ll see what I mean when you have a look. URL: http://ceramics.mattgraydesign.co.uk
This also means the Mobile Nav isn’t loading correctly etc.
Can anyone see why?
Thanks in advance,
MattCss Magician FriendCss Magician

December 31, 2013 at 7:53 am #516991Hi Matt,
I just checked your site in iPhone 5: load in portrait first > change to landscape then back to portrait again but I can’t reproduce any error – I mean it still functions correctly.
It would be best if you capture some screenshots or tell me steps by steps to replicate this issue so that I can help.
BTW, please have a look at this tip to see whether it’s the same with problem you’re facing or not.

December 31, 2013 at 9:56 am #517003Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. If it loads quickly, it loads correctly, but sometimes it seems like it doesn’t have the final kick to load the mobile CSS, so I’m getting left with the attached. .
I’ll try adding the Javascript in the <head> anyway just to see if that makes any difference…
Thanks,
Matt

January 2, 2014 at 8:55 am #517124Hi Matt,
Have you tried this workaround? Simply navigate to Backend -> template manager -> and optimize Css, JS with Join & Minify & Compress, this tweak helps the site to load more quickly.
Hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes.

January 2, 2014 at 9:39 am #517132Perfect, that seems to have done the trick – forgot I turned that off when I was making changes! Thanks 🙂
