I think that there are problems with your site on mobile. Did you check our site demo on mobile devices? I sure that it is smooth.

A response would be appreciated – this is a responsive template that ideally should look good on all devices. Can you provide proof that the template is displayed properly on mobile devices

I think that you should remove banner image http://65.60.53.10/~film/images/banners/banner720x90.jpg which makes responsive layout break.
