I have used an animated gif in one of the articles that the mod_jacatslwi uses. The animation is not showing up on the home page image, but if you click the image and go to the actual article you can see the animation.

How can I get the animation to work on the home page mod_jacatslwi image?

    Thanks
    Janice

    Dear jwdavis,

The animation is not showing up because your gif images have been resized before render out, please try to access ther setting for jacatslwi,on the Image Setting section select “Thumbnail Mode” field to Using Image Source,I think it will help .

Dat, I know this is an older post but Thank you none the less! Saved me a bunch of time! The error I was getting was:

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open ‘/home/admin/public_html/images/resized/images/stories/content/three_box_frontpage/three-box-1_300_180.jpg’ for writing: No such file or directory in /home/admin/public_html/modules/mod_jacatslwi/helper.php on line 115

I followed the steps you mentioned, and changed the settings, module, jacatslwi and turned off autoresize in the module parameters.

    Thanks again! 😎
